Up to this point I have shown you several methods that will help you to gain more traffic. If you apply them, you will see success.

I want you to picture a rocket getting ready to take off into space.

Day 13: The Ask Methodology

Compiling Your Initial Feedback

You've found your niche, built your squeeze page, set up your first autoresponder email, and have driven at least some traffic to your page.

Hopefully by this point you have about 50 and 100 people on your list. If you don't, please go back and take the lessons on traffic generation, then applying more of the principles to generate more traffic to your site and grow your list.

Once you have a small list of prospects built up, you should also have a small list of questions. 20 or 30 should be enough to get the results you need.

Now it's time to give them exactly what they want

I already explained this concept in Day 7, but let's go over the idea really quickly.

Instead of guessing what your prospects want to buy, you ask them what they want and then deliver what they want to them.

Let's look at how you can do that now...

3 Easy Steps To Deliver Exactly What THEY Want

1. Compile the questions that you received.

Hopefully you have found a common theme amongst many of the questions. If not, you will need to keep getting more questions before you proceed.

For example, when I asked the question "What is your single most important question about making money with affiliate marketing?", I received the following responses:

1. How do I get traffic to my site without spending a ton of money?

2. How do I get started from scratch?

3. How do I stay motivated when things aren't going as I would wish?

4. How do I make more money from my existing list?

5. ... There were more responses, but those were the top four most common questions.

2. Understand what your list really wants

Once you have compiled a list of questions, take a good, long look at what they are. Try to enter the mind of your prospects.

Remember, you are probably at a different point than they are. If you are teaching about gardening, you might already an expert at certain things that they keep asking. You might be tempted to say "Well that's a stupid question, the answer is obvious"!

Resist that temptation as it will surely cost you to lose a lot of potential profits. Once you realize who you are really dealing with you will be better prepared to help them.

3. Start answering their questions through emails, articles, video, and by promoting products to fill their needs

This is where the fun begins. Show them that you really care about their concerns by answering their questions. Add their questions to your autoresponder series with the answers that you create.

Find products and services that deal with THEIR problems and promote them to your list. (We will go over this more in a future lesson)

You will be surprised at the great results that you receive by simply answering the questions that you were given. Your list will trust you more, they will like your more, and they will buy from you more.
