TIPS#13#

As promised, today I am going to give you several tips and tricks that you can implement in your autoresponder sequence.

Five Tips To Making A Better Autoresponder Course

Tip #1 - Write compelling subject lines

Your subject lines need to be quick and to the point. Make sure you personalize your subject line by including the prospects name.

Be as creative as possible - remember that the subject line is one of the biggest factors in your email open rate.

Tip #2 - Personalization is key

As I stated above you should put the reader's name in the subject line. Also put it at the beginning of your email. Use "Hello [firstname]" or "Hey [firstname]", but don't use "Dear [firstname]" as it is not too personal enough.

Always try to put the person's name in the message somewhere as well. For example, you could right "So you see [firstname]..." This really helps to make it even more personal.

Tip #3 - Train your readers to click

A really good idea is to take your full article and post it on your website or blog.

You can then post a portion of the article in your email and provide a link to the article URL. This will train your readers to click on the link in your emails. This will increase the chances that they will click on your affiliate promotional links when you promote them something.

Tip #4 - Monetize your free autoresponder course

One really easy way to monetize your free autoresponder course is by putting Google Adsense or some other sort of advertising in it. This goes along with Tip #3 as Google Adsense cannot be sent in an email.

You can actually make enough money to pay for advertising, thus increasing your list and your potential revenue!

Tip #5 - Ask for feedback

This is especially important when you are starting out, but it is important down the road too.

Place a link on the bottom of your email asking for feedback.

If you post your articles to a blog, then ask your readers to reply on your blog. This will give you ideas for future articles and will create a sense of community amongst your readers.

Day 19: Rounding It All Out

Updating Your Squeeze Page

You're almost there!

You have done a great job in making it this far in getting your affiliate marketing business started. This step will help to "round out" your now started affiliate marketing business.

Your squeeze page is now out of date - it is still in the "Ask" mode. In this 20th day you need to update it to reflect more of what you have learned.

Here are a few things to consider:

Use Your Knowledge to Craft A Great Squeeze Page
Element #1 - The Headline

By now you should be intimately familiar with the problems that your subscribers are having. You have asked them what they want, and you have probably received questions in your emails.

This knowledge is PERFECT for creating your headline.

I'll illustrate this with an example: Let's say you are in the health and fitness industry and you have found that the biggest concern of your readers is spending too much money on health supplements.

A headline such as "Discover how you can get high quality health supplements without spending a ton of cash" would be a great place to start. You are addressing the issue at hand and presenting your information as the resolution to their most common problem.

The interesting thing about this is that most of the time the products and services you deliver won't need to change - only your method of delivery.

In my case when I was creating this 20-day course I found out that one of the biggest issues with my readers is having a "getting started" step-by-step course. I hadn't thought of calling this course a "getting started" course until I realized that was the biggest problem my readers were having.

It is the same information, just presented differently.

Element #2 - The Bullet Points

This goes right along with the headline. Find your top five to ten questions and then use those in the bullet points.

For example it could go something like: "Enter your name and email address to find out how..." and then you list off their most important questions.

Element #3 - Your "giveaway"

What are you going to give your readers in return for their email address? This too should depend on what you realize their problems are.

You can rename a report on losing weight to "10 Healthy Ways To Lose Weight" if a big concern of your readers is losing weight naturally and healthily.

Your squeeze page needs to be "tempting" to the visitor
If you aren't addressing their problems right away, you will most likely lose their interest.

Make sure that as you add new elements to your squeeze page that you test and track each one of them to see which does the best. Don't assume anything - always let the numbers tell you what is working best.
