“6/top sponsored ad”
A “top sponsored ad” is an ad that appears at the very top of an ezine. There are usually other lower spots available, but their costs are less because obviously they are less likely seen (and hence less responded to).
By contrast a top sponsored ad is always seen and it’s the first communication someone sees and reads immediately upon opening an ezine issue (and therefore it stands to reason that it’s a more responsive ad based off, if nothing else, position alone).
Similar to a top sponsored ad is a “solo ad.” This is simply an ad sent to an ezine or subscriber list by itself so that it’s free of distraction and from being diluted by other advertisements appearing simultaneously (and thus is far more effective and responsive as well).
Top sponsored ads by definition must be small (usually not to exceed just a few short punchy lines of text). Solo ads may sometimes be a little longer.

To make a free press release you can go here and PRWeb.com.
Suggestion: Try to change the press release text up a bit, maybe even rewriting it in your own words, and so it does not duplicate some of the other affiliates’ release.
If you pay about $40, there is a chance you will get picked up in Google news.
Affiliates who’ve paid extra for the "Stars" have had some incredible results and great long lasting SEO results.
We suggest sending them to a review page off your site with your affiliate link on the site and not in the press release itself (only a suggestion). To do this you will either have to already have your own site or get a domain and secure hosting, then upload our review or own of your own.
9/NEWSPRINT CLASSIFIED ADS
Why advertise in newspapers? Shockingly, 79% of all readers of media are readers of
newsprint publications.
Despite the “Information Age” the majority of people still read newspapers, and it’s estimated that from among them 82.5% regularly read the classified ads sections daily.
This means that about 188 million people daily are looking at classified ads in papers, and you’d be very wise to promote to these same people.
To give you an idea of just how powerful these ads can be for you, recall that one late-night infomercial spokesman boasted that he had “placed ads in newspapers nationwide and made millions!”
He stated that he could place an ad for as little as $20 that could generate for him just 3 or 4 sales making him back about $60 profit. The same $20 ad could then be placed in 10, 20, 50, 100, even 1,000 other papers nationwide – and make him $600, $1,200, $3,000, $6,000, or even $60,000 weekly!

10/MAGAZINES DISPLAY ADS
Even though we online marketers are used to the fast-paced instantaneity of the Internet, offline advertising media such as magazines still have a very much needed place in our business.
